Here and Now - for Women

Here and Now...There and Then by Beth Moore is a lecture series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. Course book is available in class. Books are $10.

Facilitator’s Class

This 8 week class is for all Facilitators and
Assistant Facilitators. Pastor Stephen will teach the Connection Group lessons 1 1/2 weeks before you teach them on Sunday morning to both encourage maximum class participation and give you extra guidance on the Eight Apologetic Lessons that begin January 29, 2012.

GriefShare is a nationally known grief recovery support group that encourages those dealing with a death in a journey from mourning to joy. Videos with grief support experts, a break out session, and individual workbooks partner together to help each individual experience hope in Jesus Christ. Class size limited. God Loves Single Moms

Single moms! Are you thriving or just surviving? As a single mom, you may feel like you are struggling through life all alone. However, the truth is that God loves you and wants to support and guide you along the way. Whether you are divorced, widowed, or never married, God wants the best for you and your children and has a purpose for your life. This 9-week class follows the outline from the book “God Loves Single Mom’s” by Teresa Whitehurst.

Basics of the Bible

This class will take the student through some of the basics of the Bible, including an overview of the entire Bible, plus teach various spiritual disciplines including prayer, how to study the Bible, and meditation. A great class to begin the new year focused on Christ.

Old Testament Survey

This class will take the student through all 39 books of the Old Testament outlining themes, important Biblical texts, and tying them all together through a general overview. This will be a ‘concord flight’ view of the Old Testament to prepare the student in their day-to-day Bible study.

Stough’s mission is making disciples who make disciples… but how do we do this? How can we be obedient to the Great Commission of Jesus? This course is a systematic approach: exposing believers to what they need to know in order to be a disciple (grow in their own faith), and to become a multiplying disciple (teach others to make disciples).

Brave - for Women - AFTERNOON

We all have insecurities, flaws, and struggles that we are afraid to address. But if we can be brave enough to raise the questions, God will answer us. This DVD study by Angela Thomas addresses six common issues women desire to be answered. Books are available in class.

Teachers - Thursday Afternoon Class
This class will study the book of 1 John line by line and passage by passage to determine the purpose of confession, the importance of a believer’s fellowship with Christ and the truth in the doctrine of Eternal Security. Interaction and special meals are provided at no additional cost!
